Welsh soprano, Fflur Wyn, has already gained wide acclaim for her performances on the opera and concert stage and has quickly established herself as one of the leading young singers in the country.  She was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the music profession.

Her opera performances include Jemmy (Guillaume Tell), Iphis (Jephtha), Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Dorinda (Orlando) for Welsh National Opera,  the title role in Lakmé, Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Vivetta (L’Arlesiana) for Opera Holland Park,  Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), La Plus Jeune Fille Au Monde,  Governess (The Turn of the Screw) in Mexico City,  Esilena (Rodrigo) for Göttingen Festival,  Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Marzelline, (Fidelio), Servilia (La Clemenza di Tito), Blue Fairy (Pinocchio), Waldvogel (Siegfried), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Sophie (Werther) for (Opera North),  Floriana in Leoncavallo’s Zazà for Opera Rara,  Mimi in Offenbach’s Vert Vert for Garsington Opera and other roles at the English National Opera, the Royal Opera House and the Opera Comique.

Fflur has worked with many of the greatest conductors and orchestras, including Sir Colin Davis, Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Richard Armstrong, Seiji Ozawa, Carlo Rizzi and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, The Gabrieli Consort and The English Concert.

Current and future performances include Morgana (Alcina) for Opera North, Malinka (The Adventures of Mr Broucek) with Grange Park Opera,  Bach’s St. Matthew Passion with the Dunedin Consort and Beethoven’s  Symphony No 9 in the Royal Festival Hall.
